- I came to Australia from England 30 years ago. I studied music under Denis Matthews at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and gained my piano diploma here in Australia. I was a primary school teacher in England but in Australia concentrated more on my piano studies. I taught piano at Somerville House, Brisbane; Saint Stephens, Gold Coast; and privately. More recently I trained as a Kindermusik and Kodaly teacher. I have taught primary music and the Young Conservaotium programme on the Gold Coast and now teach piano, theory and Stepping Stones at my home studio. With my husband I run a publishing company in which capacity I turn my hand to composing, arranging editing, marketing, technology and design. I enjoy music making, I enjoy composing, I enjoy exploring all the fascinating possibilities of the computer, but most of all I enjoy making a difference to the lives of children.
